DUCATI MONSTER

The M900/750: A Cappuccino on Steroids

One of my favorite Ducks has to be the Monster. Ducati reinvented the naked motorcycle segment back in 1992 with the unfaired M900. This is a unique bike that combines a mix of a muscle bike, a cafe racer, and of course an extra helping of Italian spice. A visually stunning bike with a deep throaty sound, it embodies the spirit of a street fighter with a more comfortable upright riding position than its more aggresive brethren. Its hard not to look cool on one of these bikes, especially true on the retro looking Ducati M900 CROMO version.

Not to mislead you in thinking that this bike is all show and no go, here are the specifications. The Monster sports an excellent combination of agile handling and cornering ability thanks in part to its light weight, as it is infact the lightest Duc. With its lower price tag and great customization potential, the Monster family composed nearly half of all Ducati sales worldwide. Never has naked been so fun!
