Random thought of the moment is that I really like my new place…if you know austin it’s a duplex in hyde park. Nice old house in a nice old neighboorhood with overgrown trees and all sorts of wildlife. There’s a woodpecker around that starts boring into trees right about the time I need to way up each day - who needs an alarm clock?

UT is playing the Sooners on saturday…I think I’m a bad fan. I like the TX team but I don’t think we’re consistent enough to beat OU - somehow something always goes really wrong during this particular game that hadn’t shown up before in the season. Losing Roy Williams is going to hurt. Then again there are a lot of new people on both teams this year…such is the joy of college football. Things are always changing…
